The challenge
Two of the three buildings were leased mid-construction, which changed the interior program while the structure was still going up.
Our approach
We carried a documented allowance for tenant-driven changes and held the shell schedule while interiors were redesigned, pricing each change against the original buyout instead of reopening the contract.
The outcome
Both mid-stream tenant programs were absorbed without extending substantial completion, and the campus opened fully leased.
