Our approach
Planning is the control
Most incidents on a job site trace back to a task that was not planned, a sequence that changed without notice or a crew that was asked to make up time. We manage those three things directly rather than relying on posters and slogans.
- Written site-specific safety plan issued before mobilization
- Daily huddles and documented pre-task plans at every work face
- Weekly walk with the owner’s representative and trade foremen
- Schedule recovery handled with added crews, never with shortcuts
Safety program
Six things we do on every site
These are commitments we make in writing at contract, not aspirations we describe during the interview.
Daily pre-task planning
Every crew documents the day’s hazards and controls before tools come out. Plans are reviewed by the superintendent and posted at the work face.
Full-time site safety staff
A dedicated safety manager is assigned to every project over $10M and covers smaller sites on a scheduled rotation.
Stop-work authority
Any worker on any of our sites, ours or a subcontractor’s, can stop work over an unsafe condition without explaining themselves first.
Subcontractor prequalification
Trade partners are reviewed for safety program, experience modification history and incident record before they are eligible to bid.
Training and orientation
Site-specific orientation for every worker on day one, plus quarterly training for all field employees on our own crews.
Incident review
Near misses are investigated with the same seriousness as recordables, and findings are shared across every active project.
Quality control
Four gates before anything is accepted
Our quality process is built around catching the problem at the first installation instead of the thousandth.

Preparatory
Before a trade starts, we review the specification, submittals and coordination drawings with the foreman who will actually install it.
- 02
Mock-up
For envelope, finish and repetitive assemblies we build and approve a physical mock-up that becomes the accepted standard.
- 03
In-progress
Scheduled inspections at defined intervals, documented with photos and tied to the schedule, not left to memory at the end.
- 04
Verification
Final inspection, testing and commissioning against the basis of design before the space is turned over to the owner.
