The challenge
The site sat over a live transit easement with a six-foot working clearance and no room for laydown. Crane picks had to happen inside a four-hour overnight window negotiated with the transit authority.
Our approach
We modeled every pick in 4D before mobilization, pre-assembled curtain-wall units off site, and ran a just-in-time delivery schedule from our Commerce City yard. Concrete placements were staged at night to keep street lanes open through the day.
The outcome
Topped out three weeks ahead of the contract milestone with zero transit interruptions and a final cost 1.8% under the guaranteed maximum price.
