The challenge
The owner needed the building racked and operating before peak season, which left fourteen months from ground-breaking to first pallet on a site with expansive soils and a short pour window each winter.
Our approach
We over-excavated and moisture-conditioned the pad before frost, cast panels on the slab in two staged lifts, and used heated enclosures to keep the super-flat floor pours going through January.
The outcome
Certificate of occupancy issued 11 days early. Floor flatness measured F50 across the racked area, well above the specified tolerance.
